TRAINING CENTER

From early 2004 to present Center CITARES often open short courses on Information Technology and Automation, such as:
Pneumatics, Hydraulics, Sensors, PLC programming, industrial communications networks AS-Interface and Profibus, and WinCC SCADA system. Etc. .. for over 500 students mostly engineers and technicians of many factories, factories in the area of Ho Chi Minh City and neighboring provinces.

In order to expand business operations and training, Provina Technology Ltd. registered investment projects Training Center of Information Technology and Automation in Sai Gon High Tech Park (SHTP) in Ho Chi Minh City. Certificate of registered investment was 04/DKDK-KCNC Park Management Board of Advanced Technology on October 19, 2005 with total investment of 23.7 billion VND. Currently the company is implementing GAMACO construction, expected to be completed and put into use in 2010.

Training courses:

A FACTORY IN THE CLASSROOM

The Flexible Manufacturing System FMS 50, which is installed in CITRES, models a complete and fully automated factory. Its equipment and technology integrates three areas of the Mechatronics, i.e. Mechanical, Electrical- Electronics and Information Technology. The system is connected with a computer Lab consisting of a server and 15 DELL PCs using 17" flat monitor via Industrial Ethernet and Profibus. The trainees practice coding to control the system via network and observe the machine feedback directly or monitor the results on TV screen of the Video Conferencing System, which can be served for E-learning or remote engineering purposes.

INDUSTRIAL ETHERNET

This course address the function of the basic components in an Industrial Ethernet network, the structure and protocols used to control the network.

Participants are introduced in theory and practice to install an Industrial Ethernet network based on the PLCs of the FMS 50.

FIELDBUSES: PROFIBUS & AS-INTERFACE

This course introduces the characteristics, structure and the essential components of the fieldbus, e.g. AS-Interface, Profibus. Processing data access, transfer and safety network. Participants install under instruction a network with real AS-i and Profibus components to control the system FMS 50.

PLC PROGRAMMING: BASIC

Participants are provided with knowhowand exercise basic coding on PLC (Programmable Logic Controller). Install and adapt the software interfaces. Structure function of the programming software. Practice coding and control the application examples with real components.

PLC PROGRAMMING: ADVANCED LEVEL

Participants are trained to debug automation controlling code. To get used with diagnostical features of the software. To analyze and work out trouble shooting measures on the FMS system.

SENSORS

To provide the participants with basic knowledge on working principles and application of different sensor types, which are widely used in the industry such as inductive, capacitive... and photoelectrical sensors.

PNEUMATICS, ELECTRO-PNEUMATICS

To provide essential knowledge on design principles and function of the pneumatic and electro-pneumatic components. Practice to set up pneumatic systems with industrial parts. Participants are instructed to practice with electrical components as well as to understand, design and work out control system using electro-pneumatics.

USING SIMULATION AND CAD SOFTWARE FOR PNEUMATICS AND HYDRAULICS

To be able to use CAD design software FluidDRAW® and simulation software FluidSIM® to draw and simulate pneumatic or hydraulic application schemes. Practice assembling and compare with real components.
